Dwight Edwards

Dwight was born in El Paso, Texas and is a direct descendent of renowned theologian and pastor, Jonathan Edwards. He has pastored for over thirty years in various capacities. He ministered for 23 years at Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX. From 1980-1990 he served as the college pastor and from 1990-2003 he ministered as the senior pastor of the 2500 member congregation. As well, he has served on the staff of Grace Bible Church in The Heights (Houston), and WoodsEdge Community Church (The Woodlands). He presently serves as the Senior Pastor of WatersEdge Community Church in Houston, Texas.

A former professional tennis player, he has ministered throughout the United States and many places in the world over the last 35 years. He is also widely sought after as a motivational speaker for businesses, schools, athletic teams, and governmental agencies. He has given presentations at Yale, Princeton, The Air Force Academy, Vanderbilt, Rice, Texas A&M University, and many other schools. He is a graduate of The University of Mary Hardin Baylor and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.

In addition, Dwight is a bestselling author. He has written six books – “Revolution Within”, “Releasing the Rivers Within”, “A Tale of Three Ships”, “Kindling for the Fire”, “Say ‘No’ to Vanilla”, and “High Octane for the Spirit”. He also has a workbook entitled “Experiencing Christ Within” and has written numerous magazine articles. He is a Community Associate for McMurtry College at Rice University.

His favorite movie is Dead Poets Society. His favorite singer is a toss-up between Elvis Presley and Celine Dion. His favorite sport still is tennis and his favorite hobby is reading. Dwight lives in Houston with his wife, Lauri.

Laura Seifert

Laura has served in vocational ministry for almost 20 years. She is an accomplished speaker, wife, and mother with a passion for ministering to the needs of women by communicating scriptural truths with clarity, sensitivity and authenticity. She is the founder of Yes. Ministries.

She eagerly desires for women to be transformed by the truth and grace found in Jesus Christ. She has a true gift for teaching that allows her to touch women’s souls in a way that facilitates a deeper relationship with Christ.

Laura is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She presently lives in Friendswood, Texas, with her husband Jason, who is the Director of Multisite Development at Houston’s First Baptist Church. They have two children, Ben and Beth.

Laura’s favorite movie is When Harry Met Sally. Her favorite singers are Billy Joel, Elton John and the band, U2. Her favorite sport is shopping, and she loves a Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper with just a splash of real Dr. Pepper from her local Sonic Drive-through.

Jeff Thomas leads The Live Oak Group at Morgan Stanley. His Group provides comprehensive wealth management services to high net worth families. The Group’s mission is: “To help clients be good stewards of their financial resources by helping them maximize their positive impact on their families and the world”. Jeff has been in the financial services business since 1990. He is a CPA and Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA). Jeff graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio and earned a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in Accounting. Jeff played tennis at Trinity and was given a scholarship as one of the top three Accounting majors at the school. Jeff and his wife are Founders of the National Christian Foundation – Houston. Jeff currently sits on the following Executive Boards: Barnabas Houston, West University Methodist Foundation, Club Impact Ministries and Intentional Ministries.

Tracy Dieterich

Tracy is a board of trustees member for the Houston Symphony, board of trustees member for the Houston Grand Opera and a board of directors member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, where he also volunteers as a “big brother” mentor to several young men. Tracy and his wife Valerie are members of WatersEdge Community Church in Houston.

Tracy Dieterich, Senior Vice President - Employee Benefits Brokerage / Consulting, at Wells Fargo Insurance in Houston, TX is responsible for helping employers throughout the southwest region design and manage their insurance programs.

Tracy started his career in the insurance industry in 1988 and has worked for major insurance carriers like CIGNA and Great-West Healthcare, as well as two of the top five largest insurance brokerage firms in the world.

His work experience covers all areas of health and welfare and retirement plans, including: partial self-funding, mergers and acquisitions, field underwriting, employee communication and training, international coverage, 401(k) plan design and consulting, voluntary benefits and significant private equity group portfolio company and consolidation experience. His customers have included both public and privately-owned companies in many states, and almost every industry from high-tech to non-profit and from manufacturing to professional services.
